Voice & Piano Instructor, Music Director, Accompanist
A graduate of Villanova University, Megan gained extensive experience in vocal music direction and accompanying for Philadelphia area collegiate, elementary and semi-professional musical theater productions, choral ensembles, liturgical groups and performing arts studios.
Megan has music-directed Blumenthal ("Blumey") High School Musical Theatre award-winning shows in Charlotte, including Ardrey Kell High School's "42nd Street" (Best Musical 2015). She has worked on shows with multiple nominations in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 at Providence Day School ("Anything Goes", "Little Shop of Horrors", "Into the Woods"), Ardrey Kell ("Chicago", "Mary Poppins", "Seussical") and Covenant Day School ("The Wizard of Oz"). Additional music direction and accompanying credits include over 40 musicals to date.
Megan also completed a music degree program in Vocal Performance from Queens University of Charlotte. Her strengths lie in the area of musical theatre audition preparation with a foundation in classical vocal technique and collaborative piano accompanying. Megan maintains a thriving private voice and piano studio and is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS).
Recording Engineer/Producer & Guitar Instructor
Mike is MD Music Productions' in-house recording engineer/producer and guitar instructor. A graduate of Villanova University, Mike specializes in audio production for singer/songwriters and small bands, as well as contemporary a cappella and vocal groups.
Mike was Director and Vice President of his college singing groups (Villanova Spires and Singers, respectively) and was a member of "Lunatic Groove", a professional contemporary a cappella vocal band in the Philadelphia area. "Lunatic Groove" was nominated for Best Original Song/Recording worldwide by a Pro Group in the 2005 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARA).
