Maintaining a thriving private voice studio, Megan's strengths lie in the area of collegiate audition preparation for Musical Theatre BFA and Vocal Performance BM programs. Especially skilled in cross-training voices, her singers are prepared to meet the demands of executing varying styles of music with a solid technical foundation. She coaches college graduates preparing for regional theatre, Broadway and national tour auditions. Virtual coaching offered.
A highly sought-after music director, vocal coach and accompanist in the Charlotte area, Megan has collaborated on Blumenthal ("Blumey") High School Musical Theatre award-winning shows. She is an accompanist for annual "Blumey" workshops/auditions and adjunct professor in the Theatre Department at UNC-Charlotte. Additional music direction and accompanying credits include over 50 musicals to date.
Megan is a graduate of Villanova University with a second degree in Music/Vocal Performance from Queens University of Charlotte. She is affiliated with the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), Musical Theatre Educators' Alliance (MTEA) and is a passionate advocate of Maestra Music, Inc.
Recording Engineer/Producer & Guitar Instructor
Mike is MD Music Productions' in-house recording engineer/producer and guitar instructor. A graduate of Villanova University, Mike specializes in audio production for singer/songwriters and small bands, as well as contemporary a cappella and vocal groups.
Mike was Director and Vice President of his college singing groups (Villanova Spires and Singers, respectively) and was a member of "Lunatic Groove", a professional contemporary a cappella vocal band in the Philadelphia area. "Lunatic Groove" was nominated for Best Original Song/Recording worldwide by a Pro Group in the 2005 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARA).
